On Chaos & Cleaning

I am, at my core, a slightly (my mom would remove the slightly) chaotic person.

My space tends to reflect my life—so when things start to pile up around me, it usually means I’m doing a lot at once. Deadlines, ideas, unfinished thoughts, half-started plans… and somewhere in between, the room slowly becomes another thing on the list I haven’t gotten to yet.

It’s not really about mess, though. It’s more about timing. About suddenly needing order is more important than whatever deadline i got the next day.

A small note to Lara Jean from “To all the boys I’ve loved before”:
I may not write love letters I never send, but I do wait until the last possible moment to clean my room and call it a “reset of my life,” so I think we’re spiritually aligned.

Anyways this is the BEST playlist I’ve found and regularly use.
